Highlife Recovery offers Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Outpatient (OP) behavioral health and addiction treatment services at our four locations. Outpatient services can fit a variety of circumstances and needs, from depression and anxiety to substance use concerns to learning how to better cope with trauma and daily living.

Where is Highlife Located?

Highlife Recovery offers four locations near central Ohio area, Columbus, Grove City, Circleville, and Tiffin. All locations are easily accessible and in a quiet area.

What are Outpatient Services?

Outpatient services can be inclusive of a combination of individual counseling, case management, medical services, and group sessions.

How do I get started?

· When you reach out to us for services you will be connected with admissions. Our admissions coordinators will gather some basic information to set up an assessment with a counselor who will discuss your history, current concerns, and any other needs that you may have. One of our medical providers will meet with you as well to do a general evaluation and discuss any medical or psychiatric concerns you may have.

· Next, you’ll have a care team assigned to you based on your needs. As an example, one person may be assigned a counselor for substance use as well as a case manager, another person may be assigned to a counselor for mental health.

· Your care team will meet with you and together develop your plan. Your counselor will have recommendations for you, following current evidence-based research. However, our staff wants to see you succeed, so let your care team know if there are any concerns or barriers that you may have, such as work schedule.

· As you continue through, it is important to remember that this plan is never set in stone and will change over time as you progress or have a setback. Any changes or concerns will be discussed with you to allow for you to give feedback and work through.

What can I expect with a session?

For an individual counseling session, those will include a private conversation to discuss goals, difficulties, and make plans for reaching those goals.

Case management sessions help connect, remove barriers, and get you set up with what you need to succeed and reach the goals you have set.

Group sessions can seem very intimidating, however can provide a great support system and help build and develop skills. Groups typically have a topic, such as anger management or healthy boundaries, and provide space to practice and discuss ways to use the skills in a practical way.

Anything else I should know?

Highlife Recovery takes pride in working with our individuals to make sure they have the skills needed to be successful. Because of this, you will be contacted by a representative of our office who will make sure things are going well and help resolve any concerns or barriers that you may have in making appointments or getting the care needed.

We strive to make our offices a comfortable and welcoming environment. Outpatient services do vary depending on your needs and will be discussed with you at every step along the way. Please reach out if you have any questions or interested in getting started.
