Engaging with Community: Our Recent Activities and Upcoming Events

At Highlife Recovery, we understand the importance of active involvement within our community. It’s not just about providing treatment; it’s about fostering connections, raising awareness, and supporting initiatives that promote overall well-being. We've been actively engaged in various community events and initiatives, and we're excited to share our recent activities and upcoming events with you.

One recent highlight was our participation in the Community Baby Shower at the Pickaway County Library. This event provided us with a valuable opportunity to connect with expecting parents and families, offering support and resources as they embark on the journey of parenthood. Our team engaged with attendees, providing information on post-partum depression, maternal health, and available resources for those in need.

Additionally, we were proud to collaborate with the OSU Extension Office for Pickaway County and Pickaway Works for the Real Money Real World Simulation. This initiative aims to educate young individuals about financial literacy and real-world budgeting skills. By participating in this simulation, we contributed to empowering youth with the knowledge and tools they need to make informed financial decisions, thereby promoting financial stability and resilience.

Our involvement didn't stop there. We also took part in the Grove City Area Chamber 101, where we had the opportunity to network with local businesses and community leaders. Building these connections is crucial for expanding our reach and fostering collaboration to better serve our community.

Looking ahead, we're excited about the upcoming events listed on our events sheet. Of particular note is the NAMI Walk in Tiffin and our partnership with Colors of Hope, in collaboration with NAMI of Southern Ohio. These events represent important opportunities to raise awareness about mental health issues and support those affected by them.

On a regular basis, we are committed to volunteering with community partners, hosting speakers, participating in events, and working tirelessly to build awareness and connect resources with our clients and others in the communities we serve. Most recently, we had the privilege of attending the Chamber of Commerce event, further strengthening our ties with local businesses and organizations.

At Highlife Recovery, community engagement isn't just a one-time effort—it's a continuous commitment. We believe in the power of community collaboration to drive positive change and improve the lives of those affected by substance use disorder. As we move forward, we remain dedicated to our mission of providing comprehensive support and care to individuals and families in need. Are you ready to Reach Up to a New Solution?
